What is self drilled screws parts?

Self drilled screws or quick-threading screws, are steel quick-fit fasteners with galvanized and passivated surfaces.
Self drilled screws are mostly used for the connection between thin metal plates (steel plates, saw plates, etc.). When connecting, the first to be connected to make a threaded bottom hole, and then screw the self drilled screws into the threaded bottom hole of the connected parts.

If the surface hardness is low, it can not be screwed into the matrix; If the core toughness is poor, a twist will break, can not be used. Therefore, the "internal soft steel" is a very important requirement for self-tapping screws to meet the performance.

4) Surface protection treatment, generally electroplating treatment. The surface of some products must be treated by phosphate (phosphating), such as the wall panel self-tapping screws are mostly phosphating.

5) Production by cold heading process. It is recommended to use high-speed cold heading machine and high-speed wire rolling machine or high-speed planetary wire rolling machine. High speed is emphasized here to ensure product quality. Only the head of the self-tapping screw produced by the high-speed machine is well formed and the thread quality is high.
